Accutane (Generic)
Accutane is a vitamin A form which helps your skin renew itself quickly. It also reduces the amount of oil released by oil glands in the skin. It is used to treat severe acne conditions, but can be used for different purposes as prescribed by your doctor.

ow to take
Always take Accutane with a full glass of water, not trying to chew or suck on the capsule. Swallow it quickly.
The recommended dosage range for Accutane is 0.5 to 1.0 mg/kg a day given in two divided doses with food for 3-4 months.
Precautions
Never take Accutane if you are pregnant as it causes severe birth defects. Even one dose of Accutane can cause major birth defects of the baby’s ears, eyes, face, skull, heart, and brain.
Make sure you use two specific forms of birth control and have regular pregnancy tests while taking thi smedication.
Do not use this medication if you are allergic to isotretinoin or to parabens.Tell your doctor about any of these conditions as they require dose adjustment: a history of mental illness, heart diseases or bone disorders as well as eating disorders.
