REVOLADE (ELTROMBOPAG) Revolide is an anticancer drug that stimulates hematopoiesis and is responsible for the development of blood cells (leukocytes, erythrocytes, platelets). The active ingredient of Revoleida is eltrombopag. Glycoprotein hormone is the main signaling molecule involved in the control of megakaryocytopoiesis and is responsible for platelet production. Revolde connects with transmembrane receptors and creates a line of information transmission that reminds of the multiplication of cancer cells and the formation of giant cells in the bone marrow from existing cells. Revolide acts on platelets in a healthy body without enhancing aggregation under the influence of the ADP nucleotide and does not enhance expression on P-selectin. Revolide does not prevent platelet aggregation under the function of ADP or fibrillar protein. Simultaneous intake of Revolade with foods that are rich in calcium (for example, cottage cheese, milk, kefir) significantly reduce the effectiveness of the drug. Absorption of revolade into the patient’s body occurs within two to three hours after application. About 60% of revolade is excreted in the feces, and 32% during urination.
