TEMIRAZER (Tenofovir & Emtricitabine) is a complex effective antiretroviral drug intended for the treatment of HIV-1 and HIV-2 infections in patients over 18 years of age. It can be taken along with other similar drugs. Temirazer belongs to the group of non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors, also known as a protease inhibitor. It should be noted that Temirazer does not completely prevent the risk of HIV transmission, but it is an effective way to prevent it. After numerous studies conducted in the United States, it has been proven that this drug helps to fight AIDS, and if it is taken steadily, the risk of HIV infection is reduced by 73%. It is also known that Tenvir EM is an inhibitor of the hepatitis B virus, but the drug is not recommended for patients with its chronic form. After the end of the course of taking Temirazer in people with HIV and chronic hepatitis B, it is necessary to observe the attending physician for several months.

Basically, the use of the drug along with other antiretroviral drugs is practiced, but there are those with which the combined use of Temirazer is strictly prohibited.
